Queen’s Student Diversity Project (QSDP)

Queen’s Student Diversity Project (QSDP) was founded in October 2017, with the intent of encouraging students of diverse backgrounds and perspectives to pursue their post-secondary studies at Queen's! Thus, QSDP acts as a window to represent and promote both visible and invisible diversity on campus, as well as give a voice to marginalized communities. The vision for the 2021-22 year will be to increase QSDP’s mission within the Queen’s, Kingston and National communities. This expansion will be the beginning of creating QSDP as a non-profit organization and a national community that fosters diversity. In order to do so, QSDP will:- Have more events on Queen’s campus focused on diverse cultures, sexualities, economic backgrounds, etc.- Have more collaborations with Queen’s clubs, faculties, and staff  - Create a stronger relationship with Queen’s student - Create a relationship with the high school students and residents of Kingston. - Create a strong and healthy relationship between team members. Through these overall goals, QSDP aims to start a long-lasting legacy. This will be done by fostering a diverse community that strives for acceptance and academic excellence.
