Let’s Talk About Racism

This week, I reviewed “Let’s talk about systemic racism” featuring Dr. Kameelah Phillips. The slides provide background information of Dr. Kameelah Phillips and systemic racism in the healthcare system. I highly recommend reading through the slides and taking the time to think about systemic racism and how it not only affects the health care sector.


This is the final post on resources before orientation officially begins. The Orientation Executive and Teaches want to thank you so much for interacting with our learning initiative. We hope that it opened your eyes to some things you may not have been aware of. This initiative hopefully highlighted the importance of continuing to educate ourselves and work to actively identify and unlearn our implicit and explicit biases. We hope that you continue your learning & growing. Remember - all lives can’t matter until Black lives matter. 🖤
