Well you’re in luck because Con-Ed’s first workshop of the year is November 17 and it is all about “Preparing for Fifth Year and Beyond!” The guest speakers are Alan Travers and Elspeth Morgan from the Faculty of Education! So on November 17 come to Stirling Hall C at 6:30PM to learn about:

- What will make you employable
- How to look for jobs and what the job market looks like

- Plus a Q&A period!

The cost of the workshop is $2 in order to cover costs.
You will receive a certificate of completion, which are great for portfolios! The certificates will be available for pick-up in the CESA office starting November 23.

Job Opportunity

The following is a message from Kathy McDonald, the Student Success Facilitator with the Faculty of Applied Science at St. Lawrence College regarding an education related job opportunity.

We are setting up our tutorial program again this semester and are hoping that you will be able to distribute this job posting on your career site and/or mail it out to your students. Both Concurrent and Consecutive Education students are welcome to apply. We value the experience that these students can bring to the sessions over and above their subject area competence.

I have attached a pdf document. You will notice that we are considering running tutorials in several other areas besides pure mathematics. Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thank you for your help.

Kathy
