Favourite First Year Course: Either DRAM100 or GPHY101 Favourite thing about Con-Ed: Meeting over 100 people in 4 days! Favourite thing about Teach Exec: Their sass, wit, beauty and charm. Words of wisdom for the Frosh of 2014: Be loud, be proud, cause you’re in con-ed now! PS. Teach exec is my favourite. Personal spotlight: I am a modestly successful actor, with unbelievable wit and charm. When you meet me, you will be blown away by my ginger-ness, my sarcasm, and my unbelievable love for all of YOU, the Frosh of 2014. I may come off like I think I’m a hotshot.. but believe me, it’s cause I am. This year I was a “Sexpert,” so if you have any questions or concerns with anything to do with sexuality, sexual health, and resources around campus and Kingston, give me a holler and I’ll do my best to help! |

They are full of energy and always smiling – how can you not love them? AND they’ve been working SO hard to make Frosh Week 2010 absolutely amazing! Favourite thing about Con-Ed: It’s the best thing in the world to be in a small faculty! You can really get to know everyone and there are so many more awesome opportunities. It is a great feeling to be a part of such an amazing group of people. Personal spotlight: I want to teach I/S for Biology and French. I could eat only cereal for the rest of my life and be completely happy. I love The O.C. I don’t care what anyone says, I will never stop wearing socks and Birkenstocks. I own every single colour of tank top imaginable. I really enjoy swimming and running. I love pictures. I absolutely cannot wait to meet you! Words of wisdom for the Frosh of 2014: You’ll miss out on a lot of helpful information if you don’t ask questions! Talk to as many people as possible because you’ll meet the best people ever here! Also, I found that it really helped to find groups of people I worked well with for different classes. It makes work more fun and it’s easier to get help when you need it. Most importantly, take part in EVERY Frosh Week activity – it will be the most fun you’ll have. First year FLIES by, so do as much you can! |

Philip Lloyd
Nickname(s): Nothing really crazy - Phil is as creative as it gets! Hometown: Toronto Favourite First Year Course: HIST 124 – I know a lot of people find Canadian history boring, but this course was excellent! Favourite thing about Con-Ed: Without a doubt, the people in the faculty. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and they are so passionate in everything they do. They are amazing people to spend time with! I was very nervous coming to university and everyone in Con-Ed helped make the transition so much easier. Favourite thing about Teach Exec: They have poured their heart and soul into making this Frosh Week the best it can be – they are so dedicated and it’s wonderful to watch them in action! Personal spotlight: I love to travel. Over the years, I have travelled with my family and my high school all over the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa, specifically South Africa and Tanzania. I enjoy meeting new people, seeing new sights, and the adventure of going somewhere new! If any of you took a trip over the summer break, come and let me know because I would love to hear about it! Words of wisdom for the Frosh of 2014: Get involved in as much as you can. I know you have probably been told this a million times, but it really is the best way to get to know your faculty, you school, and your peers a lot better. Whatever your interests are, there is definitely a club, team, or committee that you can join, within Con-Ed or Queen’s in general. |
