<p>Your participation is needed for a research study on TC beliefs about ‘inner city’ schools in Canada during May or June, 2010. The study is entitled &#8216;<strong>The loudest silence: A critical examination of teacher candidates&#8217; beliefs about &#8220;inner city&#8221; schooling</strong>&#8216; and involves a 60 minute interview that will be conducted at locations across Ontario, for anyone living away from Kingston. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ever wonder what questions you might get asked when interviewing for a teaching job? Well here&#8217;s your chance to find out! Join us for our last workshop of the year on March 29th at 6:30pm to learn everything you need to know before going into that interview! Topics covered will include:</p>
<p>1) What to expect in an interview (e.g. set-up, how many interviewers, time etc.)<br />
2) How to conduct yourself in a professional manner.<br />
3) Sample questions.<br />
4) How to effectively answer questions.<br />
5) What to do if you have no idea how to answer a question.<br />
6) Selling qualities: What to highlight in your interview &#8211; what are your interviewers looking for!</p>
<p>We&#8217;re having both an Elementary School Principal and a Secondary School Principal come in and they will cater their presentation to their respective schools. The Elementary presentation will be in Stirling A and the Secondary presentation will be in Stirling B.</p>
<p>The cost of the workshop is $2. Make sure you sign in with us by the East doors of Stirling hall before heading into your respective room. We will also bring the certificates from all the previous workshops to pick up if you have not done so already.</p>

<p>Please make cheques payable to the Concurrent Education Students’ Association. Please include your ticket number with your name (located on the back of the tickets). There are 14 tables with 10 seats per table. You may not sign up for a table unless you have paid in full.</p>

<p>The event includes free appetizers and a live performance by the Trevor Walsh Band!</p>
<p>Come out to The Merchant (6 Princess Street) and make a donation of any amount to the Haiti relief effort. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross which is currently on ground in Haiti helping out with the relief effort.<br />
