Come watch the documentary “Waiting for Superman” today (February 1st) in Dunning 11 at 7:00 PM. We will be accepting donations to the Limestone Literacy Foundation to benefit local students!

Save the date: we’re holding a spaghetti dinner at 318 William St. on Sunday, Feb. 5th at 5:00 PM. For only $5 you get a yummy meal and help support us in Relay for Life, which raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Bring your friends!

Hey Con-Ed 2015! Did you LOVE Frosh Week? (Is that even a question worth asking?) Do you want to continue your Frosh Week experience in the most awesome way possible? Then apply to be a Teach, and get ready to show Con-Ed 2016 just what we’re all about!

The application form can be found here. Finished applications should be left in the Head Teach mailbox by Friday, January 27 at 4:30 PM. When you hand in your application you will also need to sign up for an interview in groups of 4 – 6, so be sure to do so! Being a Teach an awesome and unique experience, so don’t let this opportunity pass you by!

The all-candidates forum for the CESA elections will take place on Tuesday, January 24 at 7:00 PM in Dunning 11. You’ll get a chance to hear from your candidates about their visions for the 2012-2013 year, so be sure to be there! And don’t forget to vote on January 31 and February 1!

For anyone interested in running for an elected position for the 2012/2013 year, be sure to pick up and fill in a nomination form; forms can be found in the Executive Administrator’s mailbox in the Con Ed Office. The up-to-date version can be downloaded and printed off right here. Forms must be returned to the Con Ed Office by January 19.

It is that time of year again, elections are right around the corner!

The positions that are elected are:

Nomination forms will be available in the Con Ed Office as well as online on Monday. Keep the evening of Wednesday, January 18 open, as we will be congregating from 7:00 – 8:00 PM in Dunning 11 for the Elections Information Night. Nomination forms will be due to the Con-Ed Office on January 19, and the Campaign Period will begin the following day.

On Wednesday, January 11 at 6pm in Dunning 11 there will be a SGM (Special General Meeting) where CART (Council Appraisal and Review Team)’s proposed changes will be presented to everyone in Con-Ed. You are all invited to attend this meeting. The meeting will provide an opportunity for everyone to discuss the proposed changes. We would love to hear your thoughts, opinions, concerns, and alternative suggestions.
