			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Queen’s  Health Outreach is an entirely student-run NGO dedicated to promoting  health through peer education initiatives both locally and abroad.  Students from diverse faculties across campus come together each year to  plan and implement health-based curriculums in elementary, high schools  and various community groups. In addition to volunteering in the  Kingston community and publishing a web-based health and development  magazine, QHO also sends groups of student volunteers to locations in  Belize, Guyana, Kenya and Northern Canada. It aims to partner with local  organisations to enhancesustainability and effectiveness in the  international context. No prior experience or knowledge is necessary to  join.</p>
<p>QHO is holding its Annual General Meetings on Tuesday, Sept. 28th  (Humphrey 102) and Wednesday, Sept 29th (Ellis Auditorium) at 5.30pm. They  will be providing information on how to become involved, as a potential  Peer Educator or as a volunteer on a QHO committee here at Queen&#8217;s. <p>Saturday March 20th<br />
Doors open at 7:00 pm, dinner will be served at 7:30 pm.</p>
<p>Tickets go on sale on Tuesday March 2nd in the Con-Ed office (lower ceilidh of the JDUC, to the right of the P&amp;CC).</p>
<p>Tickets cost $60 per person and include a three-course dinner, photos by Patrick Blake photography, Con-Ed awards presentation and slideshow, and a night of dancing with music by DJ Wade-West.</p>
<p>Please make cheques payable to the Concurrent Education Students’ Association. After purchasing your ticket(s) please make a seating and dinner selection on the chart provided, indicate your method of payment, and provide your webmail address. Please include your ticket number with your name (located on the back of the tickets). There are 14 tables with 10 seats per table. You may not sign up for a table unless you have paid in full.</p>
<p>*If you have food allergies or other special requirements (ie vegan meals) please contact Emily Beck at <a href="mailto:7ejb@queensu.ca" target="_blank">7ejb@queensu.ca</a>, or Théa Pel at <a href="mailto:7tmp@queensu.ca" target="_blank">7tmp@queensu.ca</a> with the specifications, and leave the dinner column blank.*</p>

<p>The event includes free appetizers and a live performance by the Trevor Walsh Band!</p>
<p>Come out to The Merchant (6 Princess Street) and make a donation of any amount to the Haiti relief effort. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross which is currently on ground in Haiti helping out with the relief effort.<br />
